Persephone’s Return

This allegorical painting depicts a personification of Persephone. Her story is one of trauma and resilience. Her cyclical return corresponds with spring and regrowth. In many ways this old myth holds perennial wisdom as we see the current feminine rising up and overcoming external negative forces.
